OMG I would die for a set of used holies for $100.
Ok maybe not die cause then I couldn't drive my MINI, but that's awesome.

I've actually grown a bit tired of my 7-holeys. I'm configuring my next MC now, and while the 16" R90's attract, they are too heavy in my opinion, though they certainly look good, and are fairly tough. I don't want to finance the cost of the option though, so I'm looking at all the other 15" STD wheels that are available.

One of my problems with the 7-holeys is that the finish never matched the chrome exterior accents very well. However, I'm dropping the exterior chrome bling this time around, so that doesn't matter so much. Mostly, I'd just like a change in look from what I had before, as the new car will end up the same color combination (good old LY/B).

The Delta, 7-spoke, style wheel draws my attention as looking very servicable, but w/o any unnecessary center bolt caps, or other wild (and thus easily dated) stylistic wiz-bang. If these are lightweight wheels, like the 7-holeys, that'd be great. Does anyone know what any of these new wheel styles wheigh? I'd be very curious to know.

One negative about these 15" wheels is that they all seem to stick out too much. I've damaged one (or is it two now?) on curbs that my tires may have caught instead in a larger, more flush, design. Luckily, the 7-holeys are generally cheap to replace, so that is a definite plus.

I just bought new CHROME holies off ebay for winter for my MCS. I don't see chrome listed as an option for holies. Am I missing something? They are new and look good.

I love my 7-holies for my winter snow tires. An inch narrower and very light making a noticable difference whenever I put them on.

Also easy to clean.

Man, after posting in Marketplace to sell my holeys when my '06 arrived, the more I look at them on my PW/B MC, and the more I drive with the wonderful light feel, the more I begin to think that 195/60/15 rubber and a nice set of M7 or HSports is just the thing - never mind the aftermarket rims.

Ah, Bilbo you beat me to it, I put my Nokians on R81s and the setup is great. I have to "adjust" my driving as I'm wont to chirp my tires since they're 1/2 the weight of the S-Lites. I'm also running non RFs and it's definately a smoother ride.

I may go to 16" w/ non RFs when my RFs wear out....

i had 16" 5 stars, Flik Wasps, then S lites ... and now Holeys ... holy moly.
it literally feels like I dropped a ton of weight, the MC just pounces.

I have a new set with Conti's but want to go a bit wider on the tires.

I do however need ALL SEASON tires ... any good recommendations?

Lurch70,

For use with Holey rims (15x5.5") and all season tires try 205/55-15.
