I'll just tell you that I hit a raised center median hard enough to bend a front strut on my car and there was no damage to the wheel (17" Flik Wasps) at all.

My black Flik Wasps have some paint issues (posted pics in another thread). From just a few feet away you can't see them but if you get really close, you can see it. I've had no other complaints with them.

My Flik wasp 17" don't give me any trouble, but I've only had them for a week.

The only problem I have with them is that they don't come in silver for 17 x 7!!!! If they were in 18x7 or 17x7 in silver with the correct bolt pattern, i'd be all over them. Unfortunately, it looks like i'll have to spend more and get the ASA AR1's instead from tirerack.com

It looks like the Flik wheels that Edge Racing carries are just rebadged wheels made by other companies like Team Dynamics and Rota, among others. I bought a set of Flik wheels last year and they were Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's, and when I needed to make a warranty claim on one of the wheels, I had to go directly through Team Dynamics. Most of them seem to be good quality wheels though, although they are often limited in colors and sizes.

I've got Flik Bullets on my car. Hit a raised concrete expansion joint hard enough to break the sidewall of the tire but didn't faze the wheels at all.

Needless to say I'm pleased with them. And real glad I bought the road hazard warrantee on my tires.

I think the Wasps are around 17-18 and the S-Lites are 24-25.

I like having the wheel weights listed... It's a nice feature.

I would buy my Enkei RPF1s from there with tires, but they have a small tire selection. Falken Ziex 512s look to be nice, but I'll only use them in the warmer months... Would that be OK? They're light and have a high treadwear... Plus, I never know what the weather is going to do out here in Denver, so it might be good to have an all-season tire for Spring and Autumn...

How come everyone gets the Flik Wasps and no one buys the Flik Arctic? Much cleaner looking, IMO, and lighter...

Got Bullet-C's. So far so good. Also have the Hankooks. OK, but read Grassroots Motorsports test of tires in last issue. Might help you decide. Car rides better then with stocks wheels/tires.

FYI, i just went through a set of the falken Ziex Ze512's on 18in fliks. My car shook very bad and i could never figure out why untill i took them off. Got a new set of BFgoodrich tires, no more shaking. I have heard alot of people who have had the same experience with shaking or defective tires. Maybe you will get lucky.

On a lighter note, they were great in the rain untill they got almost warn out, say the last 3000 miles. They were also very good in the dry. No road noise.

I agree . . .and ordered some anthracite Artics last week (I've got a D/S ride and it will look just right). For the price they're hard to beat. People probably do the Wasps for the 2-piece look. So what!!

Can you post pics of your DS ride w/ the Artics?
What size wheel/tire combo?

These aren't Artics, they're Wasp but it might help.

Do you have any clearance problems w/ the 215/45?
