BBS RGR

he New BBS RG-R will be available soon. The first order will arrive to us by the end of this month! We placed orders for these several months ago. The RG-R wheels are produced in Japan by the BBS division there. BBS Japan only produces Forged products in that facility, they produce all the forgings for the Magnesium and Aluminum forged wheels, street and racing versions.
Once the wheels arrive to us and we can get all our wheel spec data from them, we can update the weights. Currently we do not know the available brake and hub clearance.
The RG-R is a forged one piece wheel in the Diamond Black finish. The wheels will arrive with a Gold BBS logo in them. The logo they use in these wheels is NOT the same as other BBS logos.
Here is an expected weight for the RG-R wheel:
17 x 7 16.6 lbs
More to come as I get the info.

>>Dan -- It's a bit hard to tell from the picture what the finish is like on the RGR. Is it a silver? I thought I heard it was kind of a darker diamond-something finish. How do you think it would look with white top/stripes, or do you think it will mainly work with black?
Diamond black is the color. Its like a satin carbon color. More like the color of Hematite. I have also likened it to Chrome thats been limo tinted. Think the finnish of the E46 M car (new M3 wheels) I think it looks great on ritcher hued cars, but also makes a very pronounced impact on white vehicles.
