Anyone using the Conti tire repair kit from TR? While significantly more money than the Slime kit, from reading the archives, Alex said the "fix" soluton can be washed out with water. I know that Slime stuff is a PITA to get out.

On the other hand, the Slime kit seems to be a longer term solution.

Thoughts???

 

I purchased some with my Yoko ES 100's a couple weeks ago. Luckily, I haven't had the chance to use it (and hopefully won't). I keep it in the boot next to the cd changer and it doesn't take up much space.

 

Same here. The compressor works well though, and it is a top quality product!

 

Any selant system should only be temporary!

Nothing replaces a true vulcanized patch from inside the tire.
