I am looking to get some new wheels and regular (= non-runflat) tires. Here is my stupid question of the day - what if you get a flat? are there any kits out there you can buy as a replacement?
I'm in the same boat as you. I replaced my S-Lites and run-flats at the dealer on delivery day with SSR Comps and Avon Tech M550 A/S. I knew the dealer had a "kit" which was effectively sealant and a pump, but I was quoted $150. So, I went to Pep Boys and picked up one there, bottle of Slime sealant and pump - $26. Should I decide to take any long trips, I'll pick up a lightweight wheel (probably a Holey) and throw that in the back with the luggage.
There are some tire kits availible and a lot of people get a spare for a cooper to carry on long trips. The Bag Lady makes nice tire bags for carring the spare in the car.
