Another tire/wheel fitment question

I've got a '05 convertible MCS. I'm thinking of putting 17 x 7.5" (45 offset) wheels on it with either 225/40-17 tires (Nitto 555's) or 215/45-17 (Yokohama ES100's). Will either combination rub front or back? Do the Nitto's have a high enough load rating (90W)? I have read that the load rating is a problem with 215/40 -17 tires.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Es100 in 215/45 will be a trouble free fit with ET45 wheels.

225 is very agressive.

90 in service desc far exceeds mini's requirment.

84 is the minimum safe load range

Thanks for the information, Alex.

On the 225/40-17 tires, what do you mean by agressive? I know they are not as tall as the tires I have now, but about an inch wider. Will that cause rubbing issues on either the inside or the outside of the wheel well?
Are there handling issues I need to know about?

225's are wide enough that they may rub,
