My vote is for the first one. More aggressive looking, uncommon and stylish. The second and third remind me of the rims on a first model Prius.
However, the rims on the first photo won't fit your Mini. They look like 5x100's, not 4x100's
#2 is kinda beefy and strong looking with the thicker spokes. I believe that bold strong wheels look fitting on an MCS which has much bulkier styling with the hood bulge, and heavier styled bumpers. So beefy wheels tend to fit the MCS. Its my opinion though that an MC should try to maintain a rather sportier look to play up the more nimble elegant accents of the styling such as the sloped hood and smooth lines. A thin spoked smaller wheel might fit your MC better in terms of styling. Thats why i picked 3 over 2....fits the styling better in my opinion
Thanks, MINI Rally, a good analysis. I took liked 3 at first. The person that I rode with this weekend that is the president of the local club, selected # 3. Now all I need is to see this wheel on a MC.
Lurch70 mentioned the Rota Circuit 8's. What is the difference between the 8's and the 10's? Also what has been people's experience with the Rota wheel?
8 is 8 spokes, 10 is 5 double spokes made to look like 10 spokes...
both are replica wheels of volks ce28n, but probably closer to Mugen MF8 and MF10...
i like the third one too.. because im personally also eyeing circuit 10s...
kyriian is right on that one. the circuit series by rota are Mugen knockoffs. They are really popular with the Honda guys. I had some gunmetal 16" Circuit 8's. I was really happy with them. The quality was good for the price. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the color of the "gunmetal" it was more brown than grey.
