Great page for finding wheel weights

Not sure if everyone already knows about this, but www.wheelweights.net has a TON of wheels listed along with their weights and how they're made (cast, forged, etc.)

The MINI2 FAQ is commonly regarded as the wheel info bible: http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...heel_tire_tech

Hope that helps.

It's also wrong, at least on the 2005 17" S-lites.

I have used and like wheel weights and other sites for reference, but they are definately not correct all of the time. I found that contacting the manufacter or a reseller willing to put it on a scale is a good source if you really want to be more accurate (plenty of times the manufacturer actually gave me much heaver weights then what was listed on a wheel sales site).

That's odd because the "bible" lists them as the exact same weight. That's another great link, Gabe.

The 'bible is what I was talking about! It was off by almost 2 lbs. when I weighed mine. This other site is obviously just copying data from other sources without weighing stuff.

That information is simply the manufacturer information straight from MINI and has been confirmed years back if memory serves me by someone on MINI2. If you're seeing a difference as high as two pounds I'd consider it a pretty seriously manrfacturing defect. I assume yours were two pounds high?
