Polished s-lites?

Polished vs chrome
It is possible to chrome or to polish the finish on S-lytes.
For chroming:
You have to send the rims to a shop that can strip off the old finish and perform the chrome plating. Roughly $150 to $200 per wheel plus shipping.
Finish quality/durability varies. Chrome can resist scratches and discoloration better than polished finish but you have to keep the chrome clean of brake dust or corrosion is going to damage the chrome.
For polished finish:
Not sure on the cost but you'd need to strip off the old finish and then polish the rim and maybe clear coat. I have polished centerlines which look sort of chrome like. The polished finish costs less than the same wheels ordered in chrome finish by $100 each rim and weigh 2 pounds less per rim in the 17x7" size. The polished finish is less durable, still needs cleaning and scratches.
