I personally dont like polished lips for two reasons. I have seen some older cars that have the polished lip as an add on stock wheels and that to me is the same as hubcaps, and thus it reminds me every time when I see polished lips no matter how nice those wheels are. Plus at glances it almost looks like whitwalls.

Well, that is another option for me, you are lucky that you did not have to spend so much money for that. Good advise, thanx.
