Wheel spacers

I really like my S-Lites, though would like to possibly purchase some 10mm spacers to push them out just a tad. Anyone running wheel spacers?

I attached a photo that I think shows S-Lites with spacers.

I took the photo of that MINI and it does have 10 mm spacers.

I'm wondering too...

I've got Kosei K1s on my car. Found a good deal on Ebay on two more that SAID they were 45 mm offset. Thought it would be good to have cheap spares, or two of four track wheels bought on the cheap, but...

Turned out they were 35mm offset. Are spacers a bad thing?

Well, I had H&R spacers on my 2002 Golf GLS (12mm front & 20mm rear) and had no problems with the fronts, but one of my rear wheel bearings went after only a few thousand miles with the spacers on. 20mm was a bit much, but the wheels (stock 17x7) didn't poke out at all. Removed them and just went with a wider wheel.

IMO, Kludgy fix.

Like an afterthought. Maybe not harm anything but why?

I'm looking at them so they clear the Brakes, but really do not want spacers.
