My new wheels

These are mod concepts's vision 17x7 wheels. They come in black and gunmetal. However, they made a special run in white for the Scion xB. The 4x100 and offset work fine, however I had to get the hub holes machined out to get them to fit the MINI's larger dia hubs. I have 215x40r17s mounted on these.

DAMMIT!!!!

I took a corner this early AM, less than a block from work, and I hit the curb with my right rear. I'll blame it on being too sleepy and not paying attention to my turn in point. There's major curb rash on the wheel and even managed to chunk a little bit of the tire. DAMMIT! Now I might have to go and buy a new one, have the machined out and a tire mounted. Dammit!

Bad luck about the 'incident'.

BTW The wheels look great on your MCS.

It was wet and splotchy. Caused too much eye distraction from my car. :-)

Still haven't been back out to see my car...too embarassed. I talked to a few people here about the incident. It appears that many other people have clipped it too. I guess that corner is an optical illusion in it's size and how far it juts out.
