Fwiw. i love deep dish wheels, they are my downfall. here are the type of wheels i like: http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20t...el%20Guide.htm

In any event I got the ASA's that you're talking about, not really any lip, but with the way the wheel is designed, when in motion it looks like they have a lip. hard to explain.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. They're 16x7 ASA JH6s. I have BFG G Force tires in the stock diameter. They work out real nice for me... I get lots of compliments and women. Last part is a lie, but I do get compliments.

glad to see other people with the same styling ideas...

I still wanna try the borbet type A's with flat caps. P-chop without the flatcaps.

7.5 in the front 9 in the rear.

Those Type A's look fantastic, I was thinking about those the other day. 9's in the back and 7.5's in the front would be perfect. Checkout www.tunershop.com for offsets.

-Thanks Codemunkee, car looks great!

hahah you let them in on our house of euro konky......some SUPER hot cars in there.

15x8s would be amazing. I have 15x7s and they stick out, but that extra inch would really help i think.

Here is a pic that shows my stance. 15x7 with ET40 (some small spacers might be nice...maybe 5mm)
More pics in my sig.

Feel free to come hang out with us over on Motoring underground. There are a few MINI owning Vortexers over there that share the euro style tastes. We would love to have you.

I'm an old VW lover. Here is my Mk2 Vr6 that I sold to buy my MCS. Part of me wishes that I had kept the 15x8 et 25 modernlines and made them fit. Maybe with some 215/50/15s to fill in some of the wheel gap, instead of the 195/45/15s that were on my GTI.

I think it could be done fairly easily ... just a little trimming here and there. 25mm is only 1 inch, so a change from an et of 40 to 25 is only .5 inches. Plus the other .5 in wheel width. It really isn't that much.

Ooooo very nice. I agree with you on the ET discussion it MIGHT be possible to work it in. It would certainly be nice to get the lip that you see on cars like the VW's. Your car looked great

I really want to get a set of these with a rather low offset. Just wish someone would make wider arches again.... . Does anyone know a place (in the US) that has good prices on RH's (if any)

Here's a set of RH cuprads, he said make offers, his lowest price right now is $800 w/ tires, pretty sure you can get them lower since they've been up for sale for awhile now. The car they are on in the pics do no justice for these wheels, I think they'd look good on a slammed PW MINI though.

7.5 & 9 x 16 (and with an offset of 50, these would work!)

If I go for the smallish wide wheel look it will probably be 16x8 or 8.5s with an et of 35 or so.

I think 16x8s with 215/45/16s would give a nice small stretch, still offer a good rolling diameter, and I wouldn't have to dump the KW coils to much to have them look right.

I like the te-37 cups.

For now I'll just keep my ssr professor knock-offs with a lame 17x7 et 38 size.

I'll definetly come over and hangout.

If you like RH cups, check Brock B2's as they might come out cheaper and they are pretty much the same wheel.

http://www.pgperformance.com/old/brock.htm

I also think the Brock B1's would be a nice wheel on a Mini as well.
