Mine is lowered with H-sport springs. 215/45-17. Very minor rubbing in rear, trimmed inside fender well. No spacers needed.

No lowering on mine, tire size is in my signature. No spacers needed and I only get rubbing on the rear under very heavy suspension compression.

more ..of the same questions :) ?

06 MCS
Kosei K1 TS 17 x7
H Sport lowering springs
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 215/45-17
Anyone running this setup...exactly ???
Rubbing issues???

It's a real concern as I do not want to start shaving of pieces of the wheel wells .... :(

I'll go down to 40's if I must but I'm concerned about the load issue....

In my 02 MCS I ran the above setup 215/47-17 w/ Toyo T1S's.... but it was not lowered.
I had no rubbing issues...except every once in a while I'd rub... if I hit a substancial bump..

Comments...please

Peace,
D

I run the same wheel and tire combination for the street with PSS9s completely lowered and no issues, the only tires I have rubbing issues with is the Advan 048 which has some rubbing on a few turns at Limerock, the Advans 048 R compound seems to be just a tad larger that the Goodyears

I'm picking up a used set of these in 15x7 for use in autox next season (STX class). I had planned on putting some Falken Azenis RT-615 on them, but I'm not sure what size to go with. Does anyone know what the max width the car can handle without rubbing? Currently, I have no suspension work done, but plan to do something eventually, I'm not sure what though.

The 615's only available in one 15" size. Doesn't seem like there's a choice to make.

I could have swore they had come out with more sizes. Oh well, at least it makes the decision a lot easier.
