Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S, anyone have 'em?
#26
I've only got about 250 miles on my Michelin Exalto A/S 205/55/15 tires, but I'm very happy with them. They are quieter than the runflats, but not as quiet as I thought they'd be. Still, quieter/smoother is better in my book. We've had no rain since I mounted them, so I can't speak to the biggest reason I chose these tires... namely, their wet traction which is a huge issue for me in Seattle. I'm not the type to hammer the car on a regular basis but I enjoy spirited driving when the opportunity calls for it.
They look GREAT on my new silver Konig Rewinds, and the Rewinds look great on my SR/S Cooper!

So, are you happy with the Exalto A/S?
Buckethead: Please share your experience with the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S, especially in terms of steering response (turn-in, and stability in transitional maneuvers, e.g., quick lane changes), and wet traction. I need to make a quick purchase :impatient to replace my worn-out Dunlop runflats. Thanks.
