Not Very Light!
I found the weights for this wheel via a Google search:
OZ Superturismo Cast 16x7 17.6
OZ Superturismo Cast 17x8 23.3
OZ Superturismo Cast 18x8 26.0
Now I'm no expert, but 23.3 lbs for a 17" rim is stupidly heavy! The Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's are 17lbs for a 17" rim!
I fully admit that I LOVE this wheel, but two things pushed me over to the TD PR 1's, weight and the spoke profile. I always found the Superturismo to look too flat.. the spokes don't have any curve to them. Check out this picture of a race car with PR TD1's in 15X7...

All that info came from a website called automotivetech.org, but I used the cached info from Google:
http://64.233.179.104/search?q=cache...&ct=clnk&cd=11
It's a pretty darn extensive list of wheel weights and sizes!

wait, weren't you the one that said a $100 **** was "too rich?" how can
you afford a $350+ each wheel? jk
heavier weight = extra workout for you so you don't have to go to the gym
for your helix ss. 2kills with one stone.

Now, the thing about rims is that I think Morgan would look stunning in a new pair of shoes. The OZ WRCs, advans, and volks look great in my opinion and I can rationalize the price... not really. But the WRCs are significantly cheaper and easier to get. Now the only thing that is holding me back is the weight issue.
The best way I can sum it up is marginal utility or improvement. The marginal improvement for the shift **** isn't enough to make up the cost, while the rims are. Similar to why I like the HAI and I think the marginal hp that an ALTA CAI gives isn't worth the $200 more.

The GT and WRC are essentially the same wheel, other than some slight offset differences in some sizes (16 and 17). For example, the 17x7 WRC is ET40, whereas the regular silver GT is either ET40 or 44. In 18x7, the WRC and GT are both ET42. Of course, you know you can buy these direct from OZ for a tad less than Tire Rack sells them for. You also get your choice of offsets (if offered), whereas Tire Rack only seems to have the ones that aren't as MINI-friendly (ie, 17" GT). The 17x7 WRC is in stock for $210 each.

Steve, you are correct, you could get those less than Tirerack. Tirerack is good, but they do not discount, and that is the reason i prefer doing business somewhere else. But overall i hear nothing but good things of tirerack. Well, i know there is 17" availability, not here, i called Tirerack, they said there no plans to bring 17s for now, we will see. It was good to OZ USA, such a shame, but it is a free market, now we have to get what is offered

yah, that makes sense.
i was just kiddin around with ya.
