18s!

I know this has been discussed to death but I just want one final opinion before I buy my wheels! I am getting 18X7 wheels with 215/35/18 tires. How much stiffer will the ride be then say the stock 17 inch wheels? I really like the 18s I found and the tires to go with them! Also will the speedo be off? I really dont want that because that affects miles put on the tach and mpg rating blah blah! Any help would be great!!!!!! Also 18s would give better handling then 17s right?

I dont know if 18's will improve the handling. However, I went from 16" stock runflats to 18's and the ride improved drastically because of the sidewall stiffness of the runflat. This was not what I expected, big improvement.

18s give you a btter response due to lower sidewall, and if you get nice grippy tires, it will improve handling as well.

I just purchased the JCW R105's w/ Pirelli PZero Nero and the biggest difference is the ride...much smoother without those freakin runflats.

The car seems to have a bit more bite as far as steering wheel response goes, but the true test will be track day at the end of this month.
