Where did you hear the K-1 is no longer made? Thats news to me.
Maybe Alex @ Tire Rack could confirm. Alex

I've been looking for 17" K1s in White before but was told they are discontinued.
I heard the K1s are replaced with K1-TSs..
Superleggeras are replaced with ultraleggeras..

cause I'm not liking them yet and it's my thread ...just messing with you. Those are not bad, but i'm still mad that they got rid of the K1's for those

Couple of months ago Alex told me the K-1s in white were back ordered and he had silver in stock. He didn't say anything about the K-1s being discontinued.

I've heard that K1's (not K1-TS's) have had issues with roundness. They are strong wheels but apparently, there's a good chance one or two will be out-of-round.

I've got the Kosei K1'a on Rex and I'm really happy with the look. Of course...there are some that I liked more but bang for the buck the K1's are unbeatable. (They were our winter wheels this year but recently became our racing wheels with our R's)http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...essDriving.jpg

If all else is equal in quality (which I don't know), etc and you have no strong design preference yourself, go for the lightest is my opinion. Any and all weight loss on the wheels is benefit to performance/braking as I see it so you might as well

Nice, I do like those a lot ...but I now worry since they don't produced them anymore...How about any out-of-round issues such as kapps said above?

IMHO, I'd get rid of that silly looking tall antenna and get a short one

Oh, your talking about tires? Kosei

I like the OZs best - something about the geometry seems to fit the Mini. The ASAs are nice too, but having had similar wheels on another car (BBS RCs) they will be a pain in the butt to clean.

I like the HT3's best... I always like the ones that stand out in terms of uniqueness.

YIKES! Call the guys with the BIG NETS.

I like the "silly looking tall antenna" AND the dreaded S-Lites.

oh don't get me wrong here..I love the S-heavies ...looks-wise they were made for the car...but I hate seeing everyone with the same wheels as I have.
