Vote on what wheels I should buy:

I know some people go for looks, some for weight, and some for cost...so which do you think is best for my (or would like for your) car and why?

The OZ's look great. That would be my first choice. The Kosei K1's are my second pick.

I like any double spoke style.
Therefore...Drumroll, please............................................ ..................
The winners are:
Mille Miglias HT3 & OZ Superleggera

I do like the OZ's a lot..but if there was one thing I could think about that bugs me the most is when you look at them from the a angle..You don't get a nice lip..in fact I don't like how the spokes actually stick out further than the lip of the rim - thats what bugs me the most...the shots that Tit provided - well I love the look at that angle (head-on)..it's by far the best looking when viewed like that ...so in other words, to me it's not the perfect perfect wheel...but damn near close.

Kosei K1 or OZ Superleggera.. Then again, I have a set of Superleggeras sitting in my garage waiting to go on my MCS.. so I'm definitely biased.

I like them all but keep in mind the Kosei K1 and OZ Superleggeras are no longer made.. whatever you get might be the last set(low price now but no replacement later).. I really like the AR1 and the K1s

The K1-TS's are still made, aren't they? I thought it was just the plain K1's that were discontinued. Those new Ultraleggera's look darn sweet too.

I'm not huge into tires and wheels, I know enough to know weather or not I like something, but remember this big see through wheels means the whole world can see your brakes, and the stock ones will look puny if you have lots of empty space in there (may want to make you do a big break kit.

I vote on this wheel

Is your car Black? Check this wheel out by Enkei, RPM-2. The best way to tell you the color is when you look at the wheel they look black then move and look again they look silver, most the time they look gray? You can have Discount tire mail order dept. order them. They don't stock them but they CAN order them! Ask for Ed at ext.432. I got set for $780 delivered w/ alloy rings and you can use your stock lug bolts. And they do weigh 16.9 lbs! If this copy doesn't work go to www.enkie.com Look at the race wheels. The tachs. at our Mini dealer love them and one of the sales people ordered a set for his silver MCS.

4 x 100HYPER BLACK16.9 lbs45

I'd vote for the Millie Miglias because of the 5-split-spoke. I love that look. It's sporty, but not too much, it really goes with the profile of the car, too.

Mine are ASA LW5's, but very very similar to what you have as a choice:

Good luck,
Leo.

Go for some Ultralaggera's! Can't beat them, they look fantastic and only weigh 16lbs.

-Cody

Ps. They are the same as Supperlagger's, but in "Graphite" instead of "Race Silver".
