Inner bead damage

Inner bead damage
Have you ever seen this before? I picked up some used Hoosier RS304s the other day. They have about half their tread left, but it looks like they were damaged in ground shipping. Two of the tires have a section of the inner bead that's rolled back. They were shipped unwrapped and the damage is a little wider than your hand so it looks like someone grabbed them and gave them a good toss with one hand, causing the damage. What do you think? Are they toast or is this something not to be concerned about since it's not the part of the tire that seats into the rim -- it's the backside? I think I know the answer, but it's probably not the one I want.... Thanks.
