Yokohama AVS 100 review, my 2 cents worth...
About 17,000m miles ago (mostly highway, very spirited up Skyline when I get the chance) I replaced OE MCS Dunlop run-flats 195/55/16 with Yokohama AVS 100 205/45/16, with PSI's per Alex of 34f/36r.
Great responsiveness, decent traction for the price, but they lasted ONLY 17k. I rotated every 5-7k (Mini Mt View said never rotate, just wait until front tires are shot then move the rears forward and replace with 2 new ones on the back end...).
Now I'm running Pirelli P6 M+S 205/50/16 because I wanted a warranty (50k) in my price range ($113, America's Tires Redwood City). They aren't as sticky, but I don't miss feeling every little bump in the road. Also nice to have the speedo/odo closer to reality.
I'm still finding my way within my budget in a non-runflat world - but it's a much improved world from the stiff days of those Dunlops.

You did pretty well getting 17k miles on those Yokohamas. They definitely don't last a LONG time, but are great performance tires for the price. I also do the no rotation method and replace 2 at a time as needed (although I just bought 4 new ones after really stretching their life over the winter so I could have brand new tires at the Dragon in May)
Sounds like you made a good choice for your personal situation.

P6 four seasons?
i had those on my winter set (i sold). they are very quiet and grips very
well for an a/s tire. had the same size. sidewall is kinda slushy, but good
street tire. i read review of it blistering on what seems like low profile tires.
had to snip off all the injection wiskers though... like how i had to on
the pos tires that came on my 06 civic.
