Brake ducts revisited
There hasn't been much discussion lately on this subject and now after four sessions on the track with all of my mods, the brakes are the weak point as I experience intermittent fade and fluid boiling (using Motul). I know I can build my own brake ducts, but was wondering if anyone has run into a prebuilt solution.

search forum for brake ducts.
You'll find this post, among others.

It looks like this is best/cheapest mod for tracking.
I haven't tracked mine though.

Hey, Guys-
Cheap brake ducts: Get 2 ea. tops from large liquid detergent bottles (pick your fav color) and about 1 ft. of 2" flexible tubing. Remove the front fender liners (ez job). Remove your fog lamps or the block off plates if no fogs. Re-position the inner fender liners so you can mark where the center of the fog lamp opening would be on the liner. Using a 2" hole saw (like carpenters use for door locks), cut a hole in each fender liner. Cut the tops out of the detergent bottle caps. Insert one in each fog lamp hole. Insert 2" flex tubing so that it goes thru the hole in the liner and over the detergent cap. I cut my tubing off flush w/the liner, drilled two small holes on either side of the 2" hole and hog-ringed the metal wire in the hose to the fender liner. Have already tested at CMP and VIR w/no heat-related brake problems.
