Early Holies

Sweet. Shame there are no more classic designs like that being made today. Here's what I want for my Cooper:
The American Racing Libre wheel, not manufactured anymore, and in a smaller size, 13", but a 15 or 16 in version would be sweet. Maybe someone could cut a set from aluminum. Probably pretty pricey.
Used on the BRE Datsun 510, circa 1970, and many other import cars of the early 4 cylinder tuning time. I love this stuff.

Sandtoast500,
Don't even tease me with photos of '71 510's w/American Libre wheels. That was my first love (automotively-speaking). Had mine for six years and missed it greatly until discovering the MINI.
Those were the days! I really like my 13" Libres. Seems weird that the blingy trend today is GIANT wheels with rubberbands for tires. I couldn't go there with my JCW and settled in with 16" five spokers. I'm with you, though, the American Libres would be cool .
