I'm looking at purchasing Rota Slipstreams in 15x7. ET40 or possibly 16x7 ET40 within the next month or so and was wondering if anyone is running these wheels over the Wilwood 11.75" race kit brakes. Since I don't have the wheels or the dimensions I can't use TCE's charts and would hate to invest in wheels now and find out they won't be compatible with the Wilwood kit I want to add by the end of the year.

 

Anyone have an answer or previous experience here?

 

I dont' have the answer but I'd urge you to speak with your wheel dealer on the clearance. Not all the dealers have this sort of info but they guys at Discount do offer various data points on their wheels (base in part on the chosen offset) to tell customers "you have 22mm at a 150mm radius" for example.

 

Thanks Todd I'll try that. Discount has always been good to work with here. Still struggling with dropping down to 15x7's or sticking with 16x7 for AX. Tread and section widths of the tires I'm considering (Azeni RT-615 or Hankook Z-212) will drive that decision

 

A few people have posted that the 15x7 Rotas with +40 offset WILL fit over the 11.75 kit... If those fit, I'd wager the 16's will clear no prob...
