Las Vegas NAM members: Spare tire question

Fellow Las Vegas MINI owners,

Has anyone purchased a spare tire for an MCS anywhere in town? Junkyard perhaps?

Just wondering.

I think he got it from one of the out of state dealerships.

I got it from a junkyard I found on www.car-part.com. I had it shipped from New York. It was both the wheel and tire. My set cost $45, with $30 shipping. It seems like the cheapest one on there now is $75 before shipping. There is a thread here on NAM that talks about buying a new wheel and tire for $109. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ht=donut+spare

I'm not aware of any wrecked MC's in town that would have a spare. It would be interesting to keep a "registry" of wrecked MINI's at various junk yards.
