Replacement Tires?
Hello,
So Ive got a slow leak in my rear left tire...
Time to get either two or four new tires! I did some poking around in the wheels and tires for sale forum, but I still have some questions.
Maybe someone can help or recommend...? I simply want to replace whats on there. Ive read about the Yokos es 100, but their lifespan seemed short to me. I would like average to good performance out of them, for now I need to think like a commuter.
thanks,
k

Don't get the Yokos if commuter treadlife is your primary concern.
Go with an all season tire rated for many tens of thousands of miles.
I've had several sets of the ES-100's, and as much as I like their performance, they are not long lived at all.
Your best bet would be to buy a complete wheel/tire set from someone here who took the stock wheels and tires off shortly after delivery. You can get some really good deals that way.

Thanks, Yucca. I have seen what seems to be some really good deals on here. But it also seems that many of the good deals originate in Cali! Being in NJ, I fear that shipping costs may negate the goodness of said deals...
Plus right now, a set of 4 wheels and tires is a little pricey for this noob to the business world...
So all-season tires, huh? Ill will continue looking into it...
