Yeah the rims are nice, but i didn't go with them because i think the 4 lug will have a way smaller lip, but find out for yourself. I may be wrong. When you get your mind made up, let us know and post some pics. Good luck

OK, Giants, I'm looking thru the "Show me your WHEELS" thread for those HP evo 18s. . . Give me a minute. . . So many pages. . . you owe me one for this!

Meanwhile, Here is D6MCS's old car with 17x8 on the front and 17x9 on the back. Keskin rims, pretty expensive, dropped on coilovers. Tell me 17 can't look crazy sick.

Whew! Finally. . .

Ignore the 4x4 look of the springs. I think he had some sort of settling problem.

I have a full zeemax body kit on the car with the zeemax roof spoiler. The ride is pretty stiff with the 19" but well worth the sacrifice for me. I am not a track guy or speed racer, just like my car to look good. I enter a couple of shows too, so I can deal with it. Hey Giants, those evos look sick on that grey mini. Nice lip. I am really interested in changing mine now and painting the centers black. If i can get a lip like that with those rims, I am getting them for sure. I think they are very nice. Good Luck.

Peter, which color should I get for my dark silver mini? Will those darker ones match my dark silver color of my car?

The top picture of the evo stock photo is the rear for a staggered set. Prob 19x9.5 and the darker color below it should be the front 19x8.5. They always want to show off the deepest wheels for the stock photos. But, you can see the 8 hole 18" still has nice dimensions. If you go down to the 17" the spokes close up and the lip disappears. Not bad, but there are many better mesh choices in 17".

Giants, I would go with the bright silver. Nothing looks worse than having your wheels ALMOST match your car. If it's an obvious few shades off the car color it looks mismatched. Always better to go with a stong contrast. Plus, at night those things will blind people.

Don't forget to shop around for price before you pull the trigger. If you can have the same place mount and balance on some nice tires, plus combine shipping, you can same some dough.

Personally Giants, I think the Gunmetal FF7 match the dark silver color of the mini great. My wheels match my car and i think it looks great. Alot of people right now are matching their wheels to the color of the car. In my eyes its the way to go. If you have a store that has them in stock to take a look at, i don't think you will be disappointed. If you are in the new york, New jersey area I can tell you where i got mine. He definately has them in stock and you can look at them. I strongely suggest which ever rim you decide to go with, make sure you see them in person.

I will try to find some real life pics of the dark ones. The prob is there arent any tires shops locally that would carry these wheels. Like santoast said, it would look really bad if they didnt match.

I like these

but maybe I'm biased because they are sitting in my garage.

^ multi pce wheels look great, but a pita to use on daily driven cars imho.

keeping them clean is a pita, then you have to deal with possibly damaging
them in pot holes and curbs, possible theft, etc. etc. etc. id stick to
1pc wheels for commuters.

I actually don't commute i live less than 4 miles from work and i normally ride my bicycle to work. you know exercise and all. I use 1 tank of gas per 3 weeks. I got a really good deal on these. My brother is friends with the owner. Also I've got 2 sets of wheels locks for these. I just noticed that the original poster was looking for something cheaper. Sorry to highjack the thread. I didn't mean to.

Jeff
