Winter Tires with steelies

I don't know how many of you are looking at getting set up with winter tires or steelies or both, however i just contacted Alex at tirerack.com (email and phone number easy to find on site under contact us, then click on see full sales specialists) and i would suggest you do the same. He knows what fits the cars much better than all the drop down menu's on other tire sites and it only took about 5 minutes to set up the whole thing. Worked pretty smoothly, thanks for those who told me in the past to use him.
P.S.-they mount for free and will be on your doorstep in 3-4days.

nope they are 15", 6.5" wide. Came already and got them on today. Working well though haven't tested in the snow yet, but handle well on asphalt.

just came across this and figured id share my info. i have an R53 and i got the same 15" steel wheels off of a honda, at a local parts yard. they had 2 available, and were able to order the other 2 from another place. totaling less than it would be for 4 new steel wheels. (fine by me since they are just for the winter, which i barely drive my car in anyway) i scuffed them up. cleaned them off. laid down a couple coats of white primer, 3-4 coats of gloss white, and then 7-8 coats of clear to match my roof and mirrors. (they came out really nice for a quick winter wheel job) anyway, i installed them to the car for a perfect fit, however, i am on lowered suspension with the tein 1.5" springs. at first i heard something hitting inside the wheel. turns out it was just a bolt coming down from the strut, which had an ample amount of space before it came close to the nut further up. so, just a heads up to anyone considering 15" steel wheels on a lowered MCS... the wheel will clear the caliper, but not that bolt. either trim .25" off the bolt, or do like i did and run the wheels for a couple weeks and deal with the noise til they do the work for you and shave the bolts down. ALSO, just to throw it out there, im running tire size 175/65R15 for my snow tires. remember, for winter, thinner tires will cut through the snow better. wider is better for dry traction.
