15" wheels on a MCS

Considering buying a set of snows mounted on 15" wheels for winter use. I plan to use the MINI seldom this winter but want to have the car available if needed. Currently running JCW 18's with Dunlop Sport 01. Even in heavy rain the Dunlops get loopy.

I know this is a strange switch but the price is right on the Dunlop Winter Sport M2 on 15's. they are on steel wheels so I am definately not doing this for looks.

I should mention I have a full aero kit. will 15's fit? Can anyone give me the advantages/disadvantages of switching from 18's to 15's?

18's look great, but tend to run in widier width tires, and the cost more vs

15's look much more classic, and function better in bad weather.

Do you also have larger brakes, because that would be your clearance issues.

Do they make steel winter rims in a color other than black? Would be interested in a set of steelies if not for the black colored rims...

I have not seen them in my searches. But there's always the trusty can of spray paint.
