Can 18 inch ASA AR1s be fitted to a mini and not rub?
Would a 215/35 profile tire be ok to fit on a 18x7.5 or 18x8 rim
What offset do I need to get. What is the recommended range for our cars?

I just ordered these exact wheels/tires, although Tirerack warned me that they might rub. I'm not thinking they will based on what everyone on here as said. I should get them this week.
I also plan on dropping the car, but even then (according to others) it looks like rubbing won't be an issue.

I have the 18" ASA AR1 with H-sport springs and only found that they rubbed a little when I had 2 of us, an electic scooter that weighs about 200lbs and 2 large baskets full of stuff from Sams Club in the back. It seemed like a ton of weight when was loading up the car and I thought the floorboards would be rubbing the pavement but I made it home fine! The fender lips were over the tops of the rims and it looked sooooo sweet!

What about camber/alignment? When you did the H-sport springs (my 1st choice right now) did you need a camber kit to get decent tire wear?

Those are really nice wheels as well. I just went to TireRacks site and noticed they are on "closeout special" and for a damn good price! Only thing is, in my experience when they do a "closeout", its usually because the supplier is discontinuing the rim. This can become a problem if in the future you need to purchase a replacement, if you happen to bend one etc etc. But for the price, its very tempting...

I have only had the H-sport springs on about two months and the rims/tires about 1 month. I don't have a camber kit as of yet. The H-sports only lowered me about 3/4 of an inch at first and now that they have settled in just shy of 1 inch. It handles better than stock so I'll wait and see how the wear goes. I can't see a noticable difference in the camber. I'm still looking for a good alignment place here. (one place I went to didn't even know what a MINI was )
