Do I need to be concerned? Do I need different lug nuts? I'm confused about this whole topic of stud nut conversions. Did MINI change lug nut sizes in 2006. Sorry for the naive questions, but thanks for the help.
Loosened by how much? It's been my experience that you need to re-torque new wheels after a couple hundred miles. Since we swap wheels quite a bit for the track, we're almost constantly re-torquing. I don't think I'd be really concerned - just keep checking them.

Yes, MINI did change from an M12 bolt to an M14 bolt in mid-2006.

Order up! rotating seats FTW! Awesomeo! Sent an e-mail after the order too since I didn't get teh PayPal dialog box to enter text...can't say enough how much this is appreciated!

Any chance we'll be able to buy "loose" R26 lug nuts? I like to keep a couple of spares in the toolbox I take to the track...

As soon as I confirm the thread size/pitch on my Miata (at my brother's house in Atlanta), I'm ordering a second set of the lugs for that one too!

Lug nuts are arriving today... Studs should be in early next week. For those that have pre-ordered, we'll ship as soon as we have the studs in hand...

We have some sets of these that are available alone on the website if you've already got some M12x1.5 studs (like me - a set of R26's went on my car tonight!).

just got a Stoptech BBK for my new 06 w/14mm

what do i need to make them work? Haven't opened the box yet, but i'm guessing they are threaded for 12mm? Anyone with Stoptechs know?

So, what would i have to do? Go to a full 12mm stud conversion?
my SSR GT7's fit on the 14mm bolts, will they be ok if i had to go back to 12mm in size?

You'll be fine - a lot of wheels (including all of the stock MINI wheels) work with either 12mm or 14mm bolts.

By the way, kindly attached an instruction (torque spec, etc.) along with the kit. Or may be, you can post it here.
Thank you.

Will do... it's actually listed on the back of the Muteki's in newton-meters (which can easily be converted to ft/lbs), but the back of the R26's is all in Japanese.

We'll include specs...

Tracking on the studs still shows arrival tomorrow... They'll go out as soon as we can get them boxed up - likely tomorrow.

So did everything work out with the brakes or do you still need studs ,nuts, wheel spacers or whatever?

Have to say - the rotary-broach-cut allen head is so flippin' perfect that it's insane. Nice and deep, too.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but these have a nice matte black finish, too.

Heat treated, super strength steel = good.

Remember to slap a bit of Loctite on the threads going into the hub!

They've arrived as promised (2/2). The kit is here, actually, it's already on my MINI.
The kit is professionally well made, looks great. Awesome.
Finally, I have my Work vs-xx on my car.....yeah.
Thank you so much. You guys are the best.

Just finish a test drive.....awesome.
I made a right decision. Intead of drilling the wheels, I go with the conversion kit. The kit is the way to go. Very easy to install.
Thanks again and again and again.

U R welcome...

There's nothing worse than staring at something and wondering when you're going to get it on the car - especially wheels!
