Opinions sought ...

Hey folks ...I need your opinions.

My first MINI will be arriving next month. It is an MCS, dark silver, black roof, bonnet stripes and chrome line exterior (including the mirrors). I am thinking about getting the ASA AR2 wheels with anthracite trim. I would get them in 17" so I can just switch over the tires that are on the car.

I am on a very tight budget, so the $159 price tag is extremely appealing ...as are the looks. What do you think of these wheels on my car? Would you prefer the ones without the accents? Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Go for it. They are nice wheels for sure and the price is great. I know of people running ASA wheels but different styles. Quality seems to be good...

When I look at a wheel I can't help but think, "How hard is it to clean this wheel?"
Also, ASA wheels are on the heavy side.
On the upside, they do look very nice.

I was thinking the same thing, but thought the anthracite accents would be a bit more forgiving when cleaning since they might help hide spots I miss.

Does a heavier wheel present any issues for a daily driver? I won't be auto-crossing or anything like that.

Thanks for your help.
