With tirerack you can order your wheels with tires mounted to save that expense and you have a good selection of possible tires to choose from. Shipping tends to be very reasonable and fast. Talk to Alex@tirerack.com for more info.

The ASA wheels have too much offset for my tastes. I like the "deep dish" look that the RBs have, and appear to be even deeper than the panasports, which is why I'm inquiring about them.
I'd like to get the RBs in 16", but 18racing doesn't have 'em
Thanks for the help, guys

Thanks for the help, guys
Send Jessica an email and mention you heard from us at NAM and ask her to send you a picture of the actual rim in the finish you want just to make sure that the amount of deep dish is to your expectations.
Reason is that RBs come with other offsets and some are for the Miata. Some offsets are extreme and it's possible that the pictures we have are of those rims and not the one for the MINI with +30 to +35mm offsets.
If you want 16" RBs then figure out the finish and maybe ask for a custom offset and MINI hub bore of 56.1mm and tell Jessica you want them made for us MINI drivers. If there is enough interest (start a thread) they could do a special run.
I'd suggest 16x7 et+42mm 56.1mm hub bore. This would fit the MINI.
If you wanted the lightest weight and stock sized fitment good for autocrossing and lowered suspension then-
16x6.5 et+45mm 56.1mm hub bore. 4x100 bolt pattern.
I'd guess weight to be about 16-17 pounds each.

Moderate in cost, weight and strength.
OK on street use
Finishes vary
Widths and offsets vary by design.
Check with various wheel shops and just ask if they carry Rota or not.
Check with Fastmini.net, they can confirm if rota wheels will fit a new MINI's 14mm wheel bolt or not. Change out the TPMS and put them on the new wheels is OK
