Detroit Tuned :: Volt MCS Exhaust!
Hi Everyone.
We have gotten our hands on some new items and wanted to share them with everyone. Take a look at this great priced exhaust system.
For a limited time we are offering the Volt MINI Cooper S Exhaust System . Part of the Supreme Performance family line of exhaust systems. The parent company makes a lot of OE systems and tried their hand at the performance systems, but just didn't know how to market them and sold off everything to stay with what they know. So now we have about 50 of these systems that we can sell you a very deep discount! Read on to learn more!
Each system is 304 Stainless Steel that is fully polished to a mirror like luster. Every pipe is mandrel bent to give the least restrictive path available for the straight through muffler design. The kit includes 3 pipes. A center section has a small resonator, mid pipe is used for adjustment, and the rear muffler section. This system looks a lot like a Magnaflow system, but has may differences. After testing this system on several cars, we have come to find that there is no drone out of this system and gives the car a great tone that is much louder than stock, but not too loud for every day driving. The best thing is this system tends to give the burble a bit more life and give the car a great race car sound. Customers should expect about a 8-10 HP gain, but the total HP will be different for each car.
WOW! Sounds too good to be true! Well there are a few catches. The biggest is that this system is a bolt on design for the 02-03 cars due to the rear hanger design. With some creative bending and a torch you can bend the hangers to fit the new style brackets. A small job for any muffler shop or MINI Tuner in your area. The second one is that this system doesn't come with any hardware, but this is an easy find for anyone. Just get two muffler clamps and two bolts. Again this is an item any muffler shop would have, or ask us and we can get you some to ship with the order.
