MINI North America has released a light bar kit for the interior. The release reads as follows:

The interior light kit illuminates the storage tray below the toggle switch bar as well as the two cupholders in front of the gear shift. The kit includes a light bar, which will be mounted below the toggle switch bar and a light element for each cupholder. A little switch next to the left cupholder allows switching between:

- Light bar under toggle switch pack only
- All light elements on
- Cup holder only
- All light elements off

The kit is availble with blue or orange illumination.

63-31-0-406-753 blue
63-21-0-407-074 orange
