ECS VIRTUAL CAR SHOW 2020

With our favorite shows mostly canceled and many of us restricted to our houses for the foreseeable future, we've decided to bring a car show to your computer with a little help from some of our friends. You may have seen our previous Virtual Car Shows in the past, but this one is going to be a little different. This year, we are asking for you to submit your car once again. After submissions end on Friday the 12th of June, we will narrow down the list of entries to our final contenders. Then, Wednesday the 17th, our celebrity guest judges will pick the top twenty cars to compete for 'best in class' for Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, and the special 'wild card' category which you can enter your MINI Cooper! Once they've been selected, you, the Virtual Car Show attendees, will begin the voting on Friday the 19th to determine the best cars in each class. So grab your detailing equipment, your favorite picture-taking device, and upload your car to the ECS Virtual Car Show 2020: Quarantine Edition and see if your build has what it takes to impress the community and our celebrity judges.

I wonder how the resonated R55 exhaust compares to a resonated Milltek in terms of drone?

Sorry just saw your message. No drone in either, scorpion tends to be louder in sound.

BTW , we just got the R56-R58 S/JCW MINI Challenge ecat back back in stock!

That's a pretty system I'm afraid it might be a little loud for me on the streets.

Its loud, but not straight pipe loud. Safe for the streets unless under full pull.

With the catless downpipe I can imagine it would definitely be loud.

I'm sure it will be.

I'll do a review of it next week in my build thread

Its loud , but not straight pipe loud. I have it with stock Cat and sounds good, with Decat it will take it up a notch. Wake the neighbors at that point.

The site said "In Stock" a few hours ago when I ordered mine.
Fingers crossed that the "Why I Hate ECS Tuning" facebook group isn't going to be laughing at me

Nope. The exhaust was one of the first things I "modded" and I have been meaning to go back and do it right. The Challenge exhaust just ticks all of the right boxes, so it was an easy decision.

Warehouse is backed up a little due to huge demand from the stimulus checks. Hold tight. We have them in stock.

Just ran back and its already at the pack table to ship.

@ECSTuning you guys really came through on this. I absolutely love it. This is actually quieter (and my God, so much more refined) than the straight pipe I had before. No more worrying about being black-flagged . I can't thank you enough for working with Scorpion to make this available in the US.

Now I have to take back all of those mean things I said about y'all

We appreciate it. I am glad to work with Scorpion on this and we are working with them on the newest F56 Challenge exhaust and parts we just added to the ECS site, those guys will like those also.

Mine got a bit louder with more miles on it as the rear muffler part sound packing material starts to settle in it seems like. Maybe it was my ears

Glad to help. You made my day.

Just an update mine has been doing well and put some miles on it. Still sounds good and even hit part of a deer carcass on the road ( unavoidable as traffic was behind me and beside me) and it held up. It hit my GP2 skid plate (which did a lot to save the engine bay) and then hit the one clamp and the back box section, exhaust it ok and i was able to hose and clean off the residue with soap and a long brush.
