Can you clarify please, whether or not you have an option for the r53? You mentioned in my thread you have a group buy for the r53 but all I see is r56

We should just bug them via PM and get them to sign up

I think your going to have to post up some HP and torque figures for your N18 tunes because those guys are wetting themselves about the JB+ at the moment.

Mindspin311 I've been pushing this group buy like crazy on here as much as I can with zero results, if people aren't interested what can you do. If we started bugging people by pm we'll properly end up band from this site.

I'm interested but have a few questions.

What kind of datalogging capabilities are available with the Evolve-R?
Does this come with the software for fine tuning adjustments?
Is the software capable of making the adjustments needed when upgrading the turbo (fuel/spark maps adaptive for higher MAF/load)?
How does this compare to the Accessport and Revolution's tuning package?

Have you considered posting this GB on the Marketplace? I usually don't sort through the forums very often, but just about everyday I have a shortcut to the Marketplace and look for good deals.

I don't know if there are rules on the Marketplace about such things, but I thought you might be able to find more people for your cause if you posted there. I'd be game, but I just got my R56 couple months ago and have already put down 3k+ in mods, so I'll have to wait.

Just thought I'd throw it out there, just in case that hadn't already been considered.

Does this come with the software for fine tuning adjustments? No we do not allow our customers to adjust.
Is the software capable of making the adjustments needed when upgrading the turbo (fuel/spark maps adaptive for higher MAF/load)? We can do that for you, we are not comfortable with letting our customer tune it themselves.

Very similar to accessport minus the ability to change on the fly without a laptop.

I am having our tuner search for the N18 graph right now, but it was 30 bhp 40 b.ft torque

Completely understand not wanting customers messing around with the tune. As I've seen bad tunes first hand, I'm very much interested in tune verification. How will you guys be verifying tunes without datalogging? Is there another method for capturing data via a laptop?

What options are available for customer tuners?

thanks for the answers so far.

not a problem, our tuner have years of experience and alot of research before we release a tune. We have done many catalog testing and have that information when we tune a customers vehicle. When it comes to our Stage I/II tunes they are adjusted a bit differently then the off the self tune, but if a customer wants something more we offer the ability to remote tune your vehicle. The more a customer wants the more we can offer with the use of a dyno and a solid internet connection ha

I asked for details about coding on the 8th got a response that day that details would be posted and still waiting. With the price where it is at the moment plus shipping I could have bought it last month locally for the same price. I'm still hopeful we'll start to seeing some more names added to the list before then 30th cut off date.

Yeah your really gonna not like me then. I lost my job a week or two ago and can no longer afford something like this. Trying to save all the money I do have for bills and such. When the time comes for a tune for the car Ill just pay retail price for it or get an AP.

So clarification time for me. I'm running a DP-back exhaust (Invidia) and will be adding the JCW Stage 1 airbox with upgraded cone filter and an upgraded FMIC. So would Stage 2 or Stage 3 be better for my car? My guess is Stage 2 since the DP is stock, but figured I'd ask the experts.

Also, with the Evolve catless DP, will the related CELs be coded out with the Evolve-R like the Accessport?

^ I think it depends on what size piping the exhaust has. If its not 3" then your prolly be stuck with stage 1 still. Especially if you dont have a downpipe yet.

And yeah I'm pretty sure they can code those out. But I'm not sure what they do if you get another CEL later on. Where as the AP can check the CEL and possibly clear it for you.

Sorry guys, bad news for you. Great news for me! I have a new baby on the way! I won't be able to take advantage of this group-buy.

Thank you Alex for your speedy replies and information about the financials. I appreciate your help, and I'm sorry I have to bow out.

Hope you all get your 10!

I would run Stage II, this will remove the CEL that is related to your DP

We are slowly compiling a list, sorry its taking so long, but its something we want to be 100 percent before we release it
