Greetings to the motoring community! The garage is overflowing so I am offering another enthusiast some sticky tires and light weight wheels for their Cooper. The wheels are ASA (made by BBS) see pics and have been used once! They are in excellent condition and the polished lip makes them look fabulous. The tires are the Kuhmo V700 R (race) compound that where shaved to 5/32 at the Tire Rack and then heat cycled. Ltierally, there have 4 autocross runs on them! I would like to find a mini owner that would put these to good use as it is sad to walk by them in the garage everyday! What size are the wheels and tires. If you know the width and offset on the wheels that would be helpful to those that have BBK.

 

Nice looking set of rubber! Any specifics on the rims and / or tires like diameter, offset, weight?

I guess size does matter! Sorry for the lack of info. Here's the specs on the wheels and tires: The tires are Kuhmo Ecsta V700 205/45VR16 at $124 per plus $15 each for competiton tire heat cycling and $10 per to be shaved to 4/32 tread depth for a total of just the tires of $596. The wheels are ASA AR1 with the machined lip. They are 16x7 in size that the Tire Rack invoice says, are 16x7 4-100 ET45. They also come with BC1x1.5 lugs. I will have to contact the Tire Rack to get the offset.

 

Alright, size is important. The ASA AR1 are 16x7, 45mm offset and weight a scant 16.7 lbs each. The tires are 205/45VR16. They have been around the Tire Rack in South Bend for a total of 4 runs (2nd place in my MCS JCW at a Porsche event!. They have been stored on a rack in the garage since. New the whole set up was $1,200. You can steal them for $600. Pick up is preferred but I will do the leg work on the shipping if you pay for it. brucebetzler@lifestorynet.com.
